Seal of Approval gains popularity
Online gambling portals gained a new way of proving the quality of their websites to customers – the “GPWA Seal of Approval.” Representing the Gambling Portal Webmasters Association, the seal serves as a certificate that a site bearing the seal is a honest source of information and isn’t tied to any online casinos that might be described in its content. Although GPWA is a quite young organization, it is constantly gaining popularity and support from the information and gaming portals that want to prove that they do not agitate in anyway for the online casino sites they are describing and linking to. By giving their 600th „Seal of Approval”this week, GWPA has reached a major milestone in developing it’s presence in the online gambling market.
The seal is a good method of assuring the site visitors that they are not being manipulated by a content that is in fact a form of advertising. GPWA makes sure that the sites carrying their seal are in no way connected to the casinos they are promoting, it also checks few other requirements that must be met in order to be awarded with a seal.
The site must feature additional information for the gamblers, must not contain any form of pornography and it also mustn’t use any search engine optimization hacks or dirty tricks. It can be surprising how many information portals are using unfair methods which are meant to mislead gamblers searching for a new casino to place their money in. With the rapid growth of Association, more and more portals are getting interested in acquiring the seal. The success of eCORGA seal that is now internationally known surely is something that GPWA is aiming to achieve. The difference between the two seals is that eCORGA seal is placed on the casinos’ websites, while the GWPA’s seal is placed on information portals and other sites that are only linking to the online casinos.
